The app
What is PackTheDay?
PackTheDay is a packing checklist app for iPhone, for everything you pack again and again: the gym bag, the work bag, the swim kit, the weekend trip. You set a list up once. PackTheDay reminds you on the right day, and afterwards the list can reset itself for next time.
Which devices does PackTheDay run on?
On iPhone with iOS 18 or later. It comes with an app for Apple Watch with watchOS 11 or later and with widgets for the Home Screen and Lock Screen. There is no PackTheDay for Android.
Which languages is the app available in?
English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Brazilian Portuguese.
Do I need an account?
No. PackTheDay has no account of its own and no login. For iCloud sync and for shared lists it uses the iCloud account on your iPhone.
Does PackTheDay work without internet?
Yes. Lists, ticking off and reminders all happen on the device. Only sync and shared lists need a connection.
Lists and reminders
How do the reminders work?
For each list you pick the weekdays and a time for each day. PackTheDay checks in on the right day, with a message that fits your list.
What happens once I have ticked everything off?
That depends on the list’s setting. With automatic reset the ticks clear by themselves and the list is ready for next time. Without it the list stays ticked until you reset it yourself. The templates for everyday routines come with the reset switched on, the ones for trips do not.
Can I skip a day?
Yes, with “Skip today”. Your streak then waits for you.
How does the NFC tag work?
You write a link to your list onto an NFC sticker and put it on your bag. Hold your iPhone to it, tap the banner, and exactly that list opens. It works on iPhone models that can read NFC tags.
Cost
What does PackTheDay cost?
PackTheDay is free for good with 3 lists, including reminders, widgets and Apple Watch. PackTheDay Plus is optional. What Plus adds and what it costs is on the home page.
What does PackTheDay Plus add?
Unlimited lists, iCloud sync across all your devices, sharing lists, and a reset that waits until you pack again.
How do I cancel Plus?
In your App Store account settings, under Subscriptions. The purchase is handled by Apple.
Sharing and data
Can I share lists with other people?
Yes. You send a copy by link for free. For a shared list where everyone sees live who packed what, the person who shares needs PackTheDay Plus. Joining is free and does not count toward the 3 free lists.
Where are my lists stored?
On your device and, if you switch sync on, in your iCloud. PackTheDay has no server of its own.
Do you sell my data?
No. No ads, no selling.
