Protecting your personal data matters to us. This policy explains which data we process when you visit this website and when you join the waitlist.
1. Controller
Bock & Ruppe GbRRichterstraße 1, 12524 Berlin, Germany
Represented by: Max Bock, Tjark Ruppe
Email: hello@packsyapp.de
2. Principles
We process personal data only where necessary to provide the website and the waitlist, or where you have consented. Legal bases are in particular Art. 6(1)(a) (consent) and (f) (legitimate interest) GDPR.
3. Hosting (Cloudflare Pages)
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) via its "Pages" service. When you access the site, Cloudflare processes technically necessary access data (e.g. IP address, date and time, requested file) to deliver the page securely. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure, reliable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
A transfer to the USA may occur. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, Standard Contractual Clauses are in place. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) exists with Cloudflare.
4. Analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
For reach measurement we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. The service works without cookies and without persistent identifiers; no cross-device profiles are created. It collects aggregated statistics such as page views and referrers. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in privacy-friendly statistics (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
To protect the waitlist form from automated abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks without cookies whether input comes from a human; technical signals such as the IP address and browser characteristics may be processed in the course of this check. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6. Waitlist
When you join our waitlist, we process your email address to notify you when Packsy launches. Signup uses double opt-in: you receive a confirmation email and confirm your signup yourself. To document consent, we store the time of signup and confirmation (Art. 7 GDPR).
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw it at any time with future effect, e.g. via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to hello@packsyapp.de. Sending is handled by MailerLite (UAB "MailerLite", Paupio g. 28, 11341 Vilnius, Lithuania); a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) exists.
7. Contact
If you write to us by email (e.g. to hello@packsyapp.de), we process your details to answer your request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract. We delete the data once it is no longer needed and no retention obligations apply.
8. Cookies
This website uses no tracking cookies and no third-party advertising or analytics scripts. The Cloudflare functions used are technically necessary or cookie-free. A cookie banner is therefore not required.
9. Retention
Waitlist data is stored until launch and your notification, or until you withdraw consent; it is then deleted. Technical access data is processed only briefly for security and operational purposes.
10. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), objection (Art. 21) and withdrawal of consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
11. Right to complain
You have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59-61, 10555 Berlin.
12. Changes
We update this policy when our processing changes. The current version published here applies.
