The founders

Two near-strangers ended up building PackTheDay.

Max and Tjark, out and about in Lisbon.

We’re Max and Tjark, one in Berlin, one in Düsseldorf. We met at a work event, then barely kept in touch. Until Max called: ten weeks working abroad together. In Málaga we shared a flat, having met exactly once before. There was always something to pack, for Muay Thai, for swimming, for hikes. And something was always missing. That’s where the idea for PackTheDay began. Built by the two of us, no investors.

What you probably want to know.

Is PackTheDay really free?

Yes. 3 lists with reminders, widgets, Apple Watch and the whole core, for good. Plus is optional, for extras.

Does everyone need Plus to pack together?

No. Only the person who shares a list needs Plus. Anyone you invite joins for free, and shared lists don’t count toward their 3 free lists.

Do you sell my data?

No. Your lists live on your device and in your iCloud, not on our servers. No ads, no selling.

When does the app arrive?

Later in 2026, on the App Store.

What does Plus cost?

€1.99 a month, €14.99 a year (7-day free trial) or €34.99 once. All prices include VAT. Family Sharing is included.
